When is your next event?

Events are a big part of any organization, and that’s an understatement. They involve stakeholders, fundraising, business development, and more. They also involve considerable time in planning, logistics, and execution. But what is the best way to devote the long hours required to make your event a success without diverting your staff from their core responsibilities? That’s where I come in.

I help organizations manage their events. From start to finish, I can provide expertise to ensure that your event is on budget, on time, and on point. I help organizations manage costs, meet deadlines, coordinate staff time and priorities, and ensure the profitability of their events—while the team stays focused on the core business.

My goal is to produce a seamless event that offers a quality experience for guests and constituents and highlights the goals of the organization while managing budget and enhancing profitability.

About Me

I have 14 years of experience in corporate event planning and program development and specialize in non-profit resource development. From 2002 to 2010, at the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) I produced the organization’s 3 annual events: AISES National Conference & Career Fair, National American Indian Science & Engineering Fair, AISES Leadership Conference. During my tenure with the organization, the National Conference generated annual revenues of $1 million. As Events Director, I managed event strategy and planning as well as sponsor development and corporate relations.

I am an avid cyclist, and completed a 1200 mile bike tour from Vancouver to San Francisco in June/July of 2010. When not planning events or cycling, I can be found sewing and doing embroidery.
