About Me

I have 20+ years of experience in corporate event planning and program development. From 2002 to 2010, at the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) I produced the organization’s 3 annual events: AISES National Conference & Career Fair, National American Indian Science & Engineering Fair, AISES Leadership Conference. During my tenure with the organization, the National Conference generated annual revenues of $1 million. As Events Director, I managed event strategy and planning as well as sponsor development and corporate relations.

My area of focus in the past 10 years has been national non-profits serving Indian Country: NIEA, AIHEC Spring Conference, NAJA, and NAIHC.

I plan to snorkel with humpback whales in Tonga and kayak with orcas. I live in the desert but love the ocean. When not planning events or cycling, I can be found studying Spanish and Scottish Gaelic, learning ukelele or getting outside. Sometimes, I do embroidery.
